I'm a chef, a writer, and a food librarian. What that really means is I do a bunch of different things that generally involve food and/or communication. After stints in Oregon, New York, and California, I now live in my home state of Ohio, where I cook, write, and teach.

Tasting Ohio: Favorite Recipes from the Buckeye State is due in April 2018 on Farcountry Press.

The Fruit Forager's Companion: Ferments, Desserts, Main Dishes, and More from Your Neighborhood and Beyond is due in June 2018 on Chelsea Green Publishing.
